{"id":43,"date":"2014-06-20T01:36:01","date_gmt":"2014-06-20T01:36:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wssc.vic.edu.au\/wordpress\/?page_id=43"},"modified":"2023-11-07T10:51:36","modified_gmt":"2023-11-06T23:51:36","slug":"english-as-a-second-language","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.wssc.vic.edu.au\/?page_id=43","title":{"rendered":"English as an additional language"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Extensive EAL support in small groups is provided on site at all year levels at Â鶹¾«Ñ¡.<\/p>\n<p>The School Learning Resource Centre offers our EAL students a very supportive environment with excellent resources and fully qualified, caring staff.<\/p>\n<p>Our EAL students are systematically integrated into the mainstream subjects with a strong focus on improving their efficiency in English and equipping them for tertiary entrance.<\/p>\n<p>Where appropriate, the school can arrange for students to be enrolled at a nearby language school for a concentrated Introductory English Language Program.
