{"id":34914,"date":"2021-11-10T12:54:37","date_gmt":"2021-11-10T01:54:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wssc.vic.edu.au\/?p=34914"},"modified":"2021-11-10T12:54:37","modified_gmt":"2021-11-10T01:54:37","slug":"aw-health-vaccination-outreach-hub","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wssc.vic.edu.au\/?p=34914","title":{"rendered":"AW Health Vaccination Outreach Hub"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Parents\/Carers,<\/p>\n<p>Albury\/Wodonga Health are coming to WSSC to deliver vaccinations to those students who wish to get one.<\/p>\n<p>The first outreach hub will be on the morning of Tuesday the 16<sup>th<\/sup> of November. There will be further opportunities provided for year 10 students who are getting regular vaccinations on Thursday the 11<sup>th<\/sup> and to administer 2<sup>nd<\/sup> doses.<\/p>\n<p>This is open to all students to receive either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1<sup>st<\/sup> dose Pfizer<\/li>\n<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup> dose Pfizer \u2013 evidence of first dose will be required<\/li>\n<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup> dose Moderna \u2013 evidence of first dose will be required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No booking is required and if your child has an existing booking they can still access this outreach service and cancel standing booking.<\/p>\n<p>Students will need to bring:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Their medicare card or medicare number<\/li>\n<li>Proof of ID<\/li>\n<li>Consent form \u2013 in most cases students at WSSC are able to provide their own consent.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>WSSC can support students who are not able to bring either of these things.<\/p>\n<p>Please follow the hyperlinks\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.gov.au\/sites\/default\/files\/documents\/2021\/09\/covid-19-vaccination-consent-form-for-covid-19-vaccination-covid-19-vaccination-consent-form_1.pdf\" onclick=\"_gaq.push(['_trackEvent','download','https:\/\/www.health.gov.au\/sites\/default\/files\/documents\/2021\/09\/covid-19-vaccination-consent-form-for-covid-19-vaccination-covid-19-vaccination-consent-form_1.pdf']);\" >COVID-19 Consent Form<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.gov.au\/sites\/default\/files\/documents\/2021\/10\/covid-19-vaccination-information-on-comirnaty-pfizer-covid-19-vaccine.pdf\" onclick=\"_gaq.push(['_trackEvent','download','https:\/\/www.health.gov.au\/sites\/default\/files\/documents\/2021\/10\/covid-19-vaccination-information-on-comirnaty-pfizer-covid-19-vaccine.pdf']);\" >Pfizer Fact Sheet<\/a>\u00a0to access information for students.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to accessing this Outreach Clinic in\u00a0 the school, the Wodonga Vaccination Hub has extended hours of operation to encourage attendance by children with their parents\/carers after work.\u00a0 The closing hours for Thursday is 8pm and Saturdays until 9am to 4pm, these are walk in appointments no pre booking is required<\/p>\n<p>These are voluntary vaccinations.
